You'll meet your guide in Agra and drive straight to the Taj Mahal. No India excursion is complete without seeing this iconic site. The legendary white marble mausoleum was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, one will move to the Agra Fort, made by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. The old fort of Agra stands tall, with its history and architecture, as a proud testimony to Mughal history.
A sumptuous lunch buffet should be booked in one of the five-star restaurants which offer local and foreign foods from all over the globe.
You can then proceed to visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah, also called the Baby Taj. Located on the rear side of the Taj Mahal, this place provides greater historical details and beauty. Should time be an issue, you may skip this site.
After completing your Agra tour, you start your day back in Delhi.
The driver will drop you at the Delhi hotel or airport at the end.
